Scene 2: If all the 4 office are not in VPN, then go for Forms Authentication. once user is authenticated, check for screens he allotted to based on his login info or role in DB. For both Scenes, you can have a module where in you pass the user info like (username and other needed info), and the module returns you the urls of screens and redirect the user to appropriate screens. for ease, you can maintain a lookup table that has the urls of screens in relation to the designations. i mean its one of the ways, if your logic doesnt allow this, you can do that in code also. choice is upto you! i wonder for every call, you will check for the screens for a user? are you using any menu control or a header template on the page where all the screens are shown as links to the user? hth...
