HI ...
i do need info reg how to go about the process of migrating an existing asp
application in to a asp.net application.
I am working in a project which needs the migration.
is that the migration just only requires only in certain pages which require
performance or
recoding all the current asp pages in to aspx?
in that case of recoding it will be a new project creating in asp.net with the
incorporation of new techniques.

Right now i have identified certain areas like

ADO.NET ----->>> DATA ACCESS.
CACHING------->>> identifying th eright cahching methods for the concerned pages.
USING ASP.NET Server Controls whereever required.
latest session handling techniques.
having the web.config files ...

So in generall what are steps which must be implemented for migration and also for
better performance

with regards
