As this will also reduce the possibility of sharing sessions across the Asp - ASP.Net pages. The second approach is to use the tag ASPCompat=True for all pages and run the application. Then test the application and change all pages that do not require session sharing to ASP.Net. The rest of the pages can be kept as ASP. The third approach is a crude one. i.e. place a placeholder in an asp.net page. Copy all code that was there in the asp page to the asp.net codebehind. Now, concatenate the HTML into a common stringbuilder object. ( Take care to change data access into ADO.Net ). Now, convert the stringbuilder into a string and assign it to a literal control. This literal control can be added to the placeholder.
