At present , my application shows all the records present in the db in the DataGrid. I want to create a appln., which shall filter all the records according to the criteria specified . For example, if the user wants to search by "Emp ID", he inputs the Emp Id in the text box , and clicks on the search button. If the record is present the datagrid is refreshed and the corresponding record displayed . The code I have written for the search is as follows, but the datagrid does not get refreshed :- string strEmpID = nEmpID.ToString(); if(MyOleDbConnection.State.ToString() == "Closed") MyOleDbConnection.Open(); OleDbDataAdapter NewAdapter = new OleDbDataAdapter("select * from emp where emp.EmpID == txtEmpID.text",MyOleDbConnection); MyOleDbDataAdapter.Fill(ds1); DataGrid1.DataBind(); return true; Can anyone say me where am I going wrong . Any help would be appreciated .
