Hi Bharat,    I have tried this option also, it doesn't work. here my regional setting 
format is dd/mm/yyyy.  I send the data like    1. Insert into mytable(RegDate) values 
('" & format(RDate,"dd/mm/yyyy") & "')"  2. Insert into mytable(RegDate) values ('" & 
format(RDate,"mm/dd/yyyy") & "')"   It gave the error as  "The conversion of a char 
data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range datetime value.The 
statement has been terminated."   In VB I have used like this only but it works fine
