Mrinal , I have written a regular expression for you. It provides both your solutions
in one textox.
1. It allows a phone number to be entered in nnn-nnn-nnnn format (you can customise
it)
2. It allows a date to be entered in MM/DD/YYYY format (you can customise it)
Either of the aforesaid criterias will only be allowed besides null values.
