----------------------------------------------------------- From: Pandurang_Nayak Message 2 in Discussion Hi Nanda, Tricky issue. But interesting.. can think of two things: 1. I don't know if Microsoft provides some kind of an object library for creating MS-Access from code. MS-Word and MS-Excel can be created using the Office Automation Objects. So check with the MSDN or MS-Office Developer Documentation to see if this is possible. 2. The second is a slight "hack". Keep a blank MS-Access Database in a sub-folder (under the Application folder) - you could even keep the attributes of this file as hidden if you so want. Now whenever you want to "create" your database at runtime, make a copy of this file to wherever you want and then use normal SQL to create two tables in the database. This is what I could think of. rgds Pandurang ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDotNet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
