----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 2 in Discussion Hi Pradeep , I am not very sure whether i am able to get your problem correctly but this may help , the path under ElearningCourses directory u are setting is that mapped to a virtual directory on your IIS server when u are trying to access it via internet , because on your local system / LAN u don't use http:// protocol , so if that file is available under that then it will be definetly rendered , Now as far as Server.MapPath is concerned , how it can help u is knowing the exact physical path from virtual path in your directory , go to following url to understand it http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/121799-1.shtml so then it can open up the file using File:/// protocol but then two things : 1. one is person must be having access right to that drive , where physically u want him to access 2.
