Hi Mahesh, 1. Yes it comes everytime. Now that you mention I suspect the same. Just
to put things clear I use SQL command Builder to buid the SQL's using the select stmts
. Hence I'm not clear as to where to put the "WITH NOLOCK". Is there any alternative
place you could mentione this? 2. IF I skip a column update and directly fo to
commit it goes through fine. 3. I know its bit of nagging ..could you give me clues
for my earlier query regarding referencing of MTS remote components. I thought it
could be a problem with 1.0 and hence upgraded to 1.1 but still the problem persists
of not being able to select the remote reference of a com object in another machine
with in a VB.NET project. 4. Finally Mahesh..I hope you have gone through the brief
architecture of the com component. Do you think there is any problem with that..like
the base class and classes having transaction option as required. In such cases I'm
just vague on what goes behind the scenes..and how to make sure the base class is not
public and only the inherited class is.Sorry this is not priority if you are busy. But
really appreciate is you could throw some light into this Thanks and Regards,
Vinod
