Hi folk,
While most of you would have, atleast partly,
heard of RSS feeds, i would encourage you to start using a RSS
news reader, especially if you have a decent internet connection.
We are talking about a few kb of data here, ie all, but some
folk might not apprecaite it.
RSS feeds is a simple xml format for exposing
news/information. This kind of information typically comprises of
updates, new articles etc to sites. MSDN, GotDotNet, various Blog
sites etc do maintain RSS feeds.
While you can read the xml manually, it is nice
to use a reader. I use one called Beaver ( iahvent explored too
many others). Beaver is simple and nice. it is written with .Net
and can be downloaded here:
