Hi Ravi,
Even I was facing this problem once.
It was a time where there was no such groups were able to answer me atleast to some
level. Later came to know itz only of few simple steps which I have given would be
helpful in this regards.
I am afraid that by this time you might have got through your problem. If not follow
these steps. Execute these Queries one by one at a time with out DoubleQuote (")
1. Open SQL Query Analyzer in SA mode.
2. Type " USE <Restored DB Name> "
3. Type " Execute SP_Configure 'allow updates', '1' "
4. Type " Reconfigure with override "
5. Type " Delete from sysusers where name = 'DB UserName Which is to be restored' "
6. Type " Execute SP_Configure 'allow updates', '0' "
7. Type " Reconfigure "
8. Create the Required DB UserName / Password using the GUI Enterprises Manager.
Thatz it.
Note: Before creating the new database username and password better stop the SQL
Server service and Start it again. These steps will be executed regardless of SQL
Server versions.
For further enquiries you are welcome to contact me.
