----------------------------------------------------------- From: dinesh_gr Message 1 in Discussion Hi All, Assume that there is a web page with 4 Text Boxes(t1,t2,t3,t4) and 2 command buttons(b1,b2). For each text box, a required field validator is present. My objective is to validate Text Box(t1, t2) on the click of Button(b1) and to validate Text box(t3,t4) on the click of the button b2. Both the controls are in the same page.When i click any button , all the 4 text boxes are getting validated. What should i do if i wnat to validate only for the 2 text boxes for Button(b1)?? One more thing, i am not understanding why the control is not validating on the lost focus of the text box for the first time.
