Hi Dinesh,    As Dolly has mentioned, validators work when there is any event ie., 
when there is any postback occuring. If your text box has the autopost back enabled, 
then when you enter data and click either tab or click in next text box, postback is 
triggered and your validators will fire and display the message.      Then coming back 
to the next question how to validate two text boxes at a time, all validator functions 
have enabled property which can be enabled or disabled as per the need. If this will 
not match your requirement then you have to use client side validations as suggested 
by dolly.   HTH, San
