 1 A)    Check list as far as i know as follows     1. Remove Project reference if u 
have used for debugging purpose and have DLL reference.    2. Check the any hardcoding 
of connection string or epecially paths for the pages or iamges. If any remove them.   
 3. Ensure all the refereced DLL LocalCopy property to True (it makes life easy)    4. 
Compile the solution in release mode.    5.  XCopy all the folders (with out .vb and 
resx and solution files)    6. Ensure proper rights given to aspnet user on the server 
   7. Ensure all the third party components that u have used are installed on the 
server (with the same version)    8 . U may have to change the webconfig file settings 
accordingly on the server(ex connection string).   2 A) U don't need VS.net to be 
there on the server to deploy. U just need dotnet runtime environment.   3 A) solution 
name happens to change u gotto recompile the project again.  4 A) XCOPY is simple way
