Hi sujay

akshit has given all the major points.

well akshit yu just missed the role of WEB.COnfig file???

<<Check the any hardcoding of connection string or epecially paths for the pages or
images. If any remove them.
>>

yu can just have all these variables in the web.config file and change in the clinet
place accordinglly.see this is the most efficient way since at the clinet place we can
just keep changing the connction strings or stuffs like that.
Also add the <bindingpolicy> in the config now itself so that when yu get a new
version of
assembly it will be easy for yu to just rename the latest one.

ALso one more important things to be noted before CLINET SIDE DEPLOYMENT.

its the STAGING PHASE.

DEVELOPMENT-->TESTING-->STAGING--->DEPLOYMENT.

we can just have a staging server which is as like the client server and after once
the testing of thge project is over we can have dry -trial runs so that all the errors
which may come in the client place can be easailly trapped here itself and these erros
can be trapped before installlation in the client place.

with regards
Senthil
