----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Nazoo_NET Message 1 in Discussion Hi guys, I have a table with a unique field (for email). The field will contain email id. When i add emailid from asp.net, sql server checks for uniqueness and i use the unique key violation error number to inform the user that he already exist. So far its fine, but few users submit information without email ids, in that case i just need to add the user details without emailids i.e., null values into unique field. Now the prob, sql server wants null values to be unique too when unique constraint is enabled. To be more clear, i could not add more than one null value into the unique field. Pls, let me know if i have to change any settings or ??? ...
