----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: NetPointer Message 2 in Discussion What is the difference between the Close() & Dispose() method...? -Some other members will be able to answer this much better then me. so i leave that up to them. Can we say that when the Dispose() method of (say a Component) is called, that component is Garbage collected fully...? -No. still GC will run on its thread later and then it will collect the object. Is there any way to tell the Garbage Collector to collect the Component at the will of the Developer..? -GC.Collect will force GC to run, but it is not recommended as it has got performance implications. Regards.
