Hi The problem is the location of the database at which it is getting restored is by
default picked up from the backup device. So if on one machine if you backup a db
from c:\dbX directory of MachineX and try to restore it on a different machine, it wil
by default try to restore to the c:\dbX directory of MachineY. If MachineY does not
have this directory then you will get an error as u have specified Solution is to
specify the correct path where the database is to be restored , in the Restore
Database Dialog Box->Options Tab ->"Restore Database Files As" In the script wlso
you can do this using the With Move option. For e.g. RESTORE DATABASE MyNwind
   FROM MyNwind_1
   WITH NORECOVERY,
   MOVE 'MyNwind_data_1' TO 'D:\MyData\MyNwind_data_1.mdf',
   MOVE 'MyNwind_data_2' TO 'D:\MyData\MyNwind_data_2.ndf'
   hth regards, sr
