Hi
Shaju,
Simplest way is to add
it as a com object using references form in VS.Net IDE. COM components are
accessed from the .NET Framework by use of a runtime callable wrapper (RCW).
This wrapper turns the COM interfaces exposed by the COM component into .NET
Framework-compatible interfaces. For OLE automation interfaces, the RCW can be
generated automatically from a type library.
Try one small example with vb6
component and use it in VS.Net.
Have a great day
:)

>From the dotnet
perspective managed code is that code which is
directly
managed by the Common Language Runtime only.
Unmanaged code is that code
which is run outside the CLR. In
dotnet unmanaged code could be used. Ex:
An existing COM
component developed using VB or VC++ could referenced
inside
a dotnet program provided you import the type library
(tlbimp command). In
a COM component a dotnet component
(which is managed code) could be used
provided you export the
type library (tlbexp component). recreate the
dotnet
component using this type library (regasm command) and
then registering the
component in the GAC(gacutil /i
command). By now you must be more confused
than you were
before ..........
