HI,
 
    Pop a window. 
When the user clicks on submit in the 
popup window, close the window on the client. On the server commit the user 
entered data to the db and redirect response to your parent aspx page.

                Hi 

                I have a requirement , on click of a button in a aspx page, 
                should pop up  a window , where the user enters some data 
                and on click save button it should save the data in to the 
                database and as well show that data back in the dropdown list in 
                the previous page.
                 
                Can anyone suggest good soln ?
