VB.NET Modules are similar to Static classes in c#

Create a class in c# with static constructor

Class Module1
{
  public int myGlobalInt;
  public String myGlobalStr;
  static Module1()
{
// default values can be assigned in constructor
// also can be assigned while declaration
 myGlobalInt = 1000;
 myGlobalStr = "hello";
}
}

The only thing to not here, that changing the variable values require you to associate
them with ClassName prefix

For eg. if you want to change the value of myGlobalnt
You will have to write

Module1.myGlobalInt = 2000;

whereas, in case of VB.NET
you could write myGlobalInt = 2000

But, that serves the purpose
Hope you got, what you wanted
