Ok, Here it is, you must be collecting the information (say login and password) in
some sort of a login form (say frmLogin). Inside frmLogin, you will have an event for
authentication, say cmdLogin_Click... In the click event, you write something like
this :- GeneralInfo.Login = txtLogin.Text GeneralInfo.Password = txtPassword.Text
here GeneralInfo is the class with static properties Login, and Password, and
txtLogin.Text and txtPassword.Text are the two text boxes on your login form frmLogin.
This is how you set the values into the 'global variables' 'GeneralInfo.Login' &
'GeneralInfo.Password' . Later, in another form, say frmMain, you want to check the
'global' values, you read them with something like :- MsgBox.Show(GeneralInfo.Login)
MsgBox.Show(GeneralInfo.Password) So, basically treat the entire name i.e.
ClassName.PropertyName combination as the global variable name. i.e. treat
GeneralInfo.Login as a complete variable name. Regards, Richard.
