----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Ambrose Message 3 in Discussion Pandurang, Yesterday I was going thro' the article and viewing the dll using the util ildasm.exe. In the article they have given shared assemblies should be added to the cache by using the tool gacutil.exe and also mentioned using the Windows Shell Extension we can see the Global Assembly cache. So I navigate to the Folder c:/winnt/assembly the files are without extensions. I thought of viewing the manifest file so i tried to open the file using ildasm.exe. Its was showing the file not found error. Is it true that files under these folder are assemblies if so can i vewi the manifest file for the Global assembly cache.
