    On the second thought, what if there is no internet connection!!! Here
    also, we can have a small implementation. Use 2 registry keys one
    to store the installation date, and the second one to store the
    application last used date. If the changed date is before any of
    these.. throw an error saying that date has changed :) It may not be a effective
    way than the one with webservice/webpage solution, atleast a better
    solution for systems without internet connection. You can have one registry
    key to say that the trial has ended. To baffle the end user, keep the
    registry key in a very unassuming place with a bit of encryption :)<o:p></o:p>
    
   
    You can implement both if you can.. First check internet connection.. if
    the answer is yes, go with web check else check for registry keys<o:p></o:p>
