----------------------------------------------------------- From: mag_mani Message 1 in Discussion Hi Im having some confusion regarding ViewState .As per my understanding View State values are stored in ViewState bag. If i declare ViewState separately, im able to see count value get reflected in ViewState bag class but if make EnableViewState for a control, it's not getting reflected in View State state bg class. So where the vlaues are retained. What is the main difference between storing in separate ViewState variable and EnableView state of a control? When we make EnableView State of a Server control, some property of control is retained or maintained as view state say for textbox, it is text property. My query, whether we can change the default property for which value is reatined by view state. If we can do, how it can be done?
