Hi   As mentioned in my previous post the keyphrase/requirement as mentioned by you 
here is "Any Request to the Server has to come to this Single Page".  In legacy ASp, i 
would have suggested ISAPI filters   in the .Net space,  the equivalent is the 
HTTPHandler.  So you dont need to have write any singletons.  in ASp.Net by default 
itself  there is a handler which is used for processing your request.  if you want to 
customise or lets say provide centralised authentication, you typically need to create 
a Filter(Handler in this case) and this is what the Http handler offers   
Interestingly the Http Hanlders themselves would be a singleton entity only(this is 
implicit in fact and u need not worry about it)...   regards,   sr
