Why not?

When you use tag some thing like this

<form method="post" action="nextPage.aspx" runat="server">

Since it has a attribute runat=server the form tag is processes at the
server side and the action attribute value would be replaced with the
page name it self.

For example if you have this tag in a page called WebForm1.aspx , if you
see the rendered html of the page WebForm1.aspx the action attribute
would read action="WebForm1.aspx".

In other words the form tag would be re generated by the ASP.NET engine.

Hope it is clear.

Thanks
