Hi,

If you are using SQLClient for connecting to SQL server then you have to change full
code for connecting oracle. And store procedure, off course you have to write a new
store procedures in Oracle. You have to use OleDb instead of SQLClient for connecting
database.

Dear All,

I have a basic doubt.
I have developed a Web Application using .NET (C#) and the database i use is SQL
SERVER 2000.
i use some stored procedure and execute the stored procedure
from the application.

Now if i need to change the database say Oracle.

How can i change the stored procedure and the connecting strings.

So let me know how can i develope an web application that supports
any both sql server and oracle.

what are the things i should note while designing the application.

give me the solution.
