We have a data helper class as a dll and in that I am required to cache the connection string. This I was trying to do by putting the connection string in a config file within the dll, then read the connection string from the appSettings of the config file. Also, I think this can be achieved by using a resource file in the dll and then reading from it. But would that be expensive? Please suggest.
