Hi,
Try
this out for getting the row number on the click of Check box in a grid.
In
your aspx page define the the checkbox in a grid something like this
<asp:TemplateColumn HeaderText="My
CheckBox">
<ItemTemplate>
<asp:checkbox
id="chkBx" runat="server" Autopostback="True"
OnCheckedChanged="MyEvent"></asp:checkbox>
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:TemplateColumn>
and in
your code behind
write
the event something like this
Public Sub MyEvent(ByVal
sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs)
'''''''' To display the
rownumber on the label called Label1
Label1.Text =
CType(CType(sender, CheckBox).Parent.Parent,
DataGridItem).ItemIndex.ToString
End Sub
Keep in mind that the row number in a grid starts from
zero.
