----------------------------------------------------------- From: Ravikumarcbe Message 2 in Discussion Hi Santy, How u deleted .ldf file? some days back I faced some problem, one of my friend machine having windows98 os, in that MSDE was running, he didn't take the backup of his database, He installed windows 2000 professional edition(now dual os) and again installed the MSDE, when we open the sql server enterprise manager(in windows 98 os), we seen all the user's database as in suspect status and we are not able to do anything. We tried to take the database back, it works and able to restore the backuped database. We recovered the exact database u can use sp_add_data_file_recover_suspect_db to recover the suspect status database Rgds, Ravi ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
