I do not know about VB.Net, but in VB
if the text mode is multiline, I guess you'll have to control it through KeyDown
event. I remember having done it that way before.

How do i restrict the max length
entered in a textbox if i select the textmode=MultiLine.even
afetr setting the max length it is still allowing more than the
set value.
