Hi Ravi, As Prasad says, you can load the data in the dataset and use the GetXML
method to get a parsed XML string. Here is the code:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dim ds As New DataSet
Dim dt As New DataTable
Dim dr As DataRow
dt.Columns.Add(New DataColumn("C1"))
ds.Tables.Add(dt)
dr = ds.Tables(0).NewRow
dr.Item(0) = "<empaddress>hno: 122, <x street> </empaddress>"
ds.Tables(0).Rows.Add(dr)
Dim sXML As String = ds.GetXml()
Console.WriteLine(sXML)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the output that I got after executing the same:
<NewDataSet>
<Table1>
<C1><empaddress>hno: 122, <x street> </empaddress></C1>
</Table1>
</NewDataSet>
HTH,
Regards,
Vaibhav Modak
