Thanx Satheesh I have used the following code to kill the word process but it is
killing all the word processes even all open word documents. Have any other
suggestions Dim AllProcess() As Process = Process.GetProcessesByName("Winword")
Dim WordProcess As New Process()
For Each WordProcess In AllProcess
WordProcess.Kill()
Next
WordProcess.Close()
