If I'm not wrong, the only problem with this
approach is that, the code should run with admin privileges. The best way to fix
the problem is to use the
System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject method.

Hope this helps,

                Thanx Satheesh

                I have used the following code to kill the word process but
                it is killing all the word processes even all open word
                documents. Have any other suggestions

                Dim
                AllProcess() As Process = Process.GetProcessesByName("Winword")

Dim WordProcess As New
                Process()

For
                Each
                WordProcess In AllProcess

WordProcess.Kill()

Next

WordProcess.Close()

Regard
