Hi , Well Using Stored Procedure do boost the performance upto a very great extent ,
which depends on certain factors Like Amount Of Business Logic that Needs To Be
Incorporated In a Procedure , but still consider following things : 1. Dynamically
built statement will be Re - formed Every Time In Ur code and Passed On to the Sql
Server , where As Ur Procedure Will be Compiled At Database Server . 2. I/O is a
resource Intensive Operation Which Will be More In Case of Passing a Dynamic Sql ,
It's Always Good To Pass Parameters For Stored Procs At Run Time . 3. Complex
Business Logic are easily implementatble through Procedures , even u can use something
like Temporary tables , Table variables to boost the performance . Well In case u
work on a Big Project , and try both the things then u can asceratin the correct
Performance difference Between the two , Regards , Mrinal
