Hello Vinod, Thank you very much. Yes you are right, before postine the qurey after 
looking in to MSDN and other online papers, I had run DBCC commands and found 2 tables 
being with consistency errors. Now I am trying to check with allow_data_loss option. 
Once I am done, I will detail the happenings again.   Also the big boss Microsoft says 
that its a confirmed problem in SQL 2000 all versions, pls have a look at this url -
