Hi Guys, Session is maintained using cookie as follows. IIS will check whether the
user is coming for the first time(by checking cookie) or not. If he is coming first
time then it will set a cookie with the name aspsessionid which will be sent back and
forth to the server. Using this session will be maintained. If the cookie is disabled
i can't maintain the session so can't use the session object. Am i right? Hope the
same thing will be applicable for all internet based application? My friend is working
now on tomcat server there i have disabled the cookie but still he is able to use the
session variable. I don't know how? Is there any other way to maintain session in
tomcat? If i have understood any thing wrong please correct me and let me know how he
is able to maintain session without cookie. Thanks Anandraj.A.
