1. Equals is a virtual fn defined in system.object. it can be overridden to provide 
custom implementation so Equals may/may not tell u if 2 references r pointing to same 
object (i think this is same in java too). there'll b no ambiguity when RefEquals is 
used(in java u would use == as it cant be overloaded)   2. both == and Equals check 
for same reference if no implementation is provided by the the type in question.  and 
ya they mean the same as far as strings r concerned
