In that I saw a DataBaseGateway Pattern. So I thought of using the Pattern in my new ASP Project. How can i go with that? I am thinking of generalising the SP's with both input and output should be XML and Write a Class in ASP which will accept and gives back output so that I can create a Object of that and i can pass the SP Name and XML (input) to the Object and get back the XML then process. Will it create any Problem like Pooling coz all database access will go thro' this Method. Any Design Issue or Any Other Performance related. Please tell me the Advantages and Disadvantages in this Pattern.
