it is not a good idea to use an error handler for each and every method. this could 
lead to excessive resource being used and could slow down the process. better to have 
an exception handler to the outer most method within a given tier unless a need arises 
to handle an exception within a specific method.    using events to raise exceptions 
is a good alternative to excessive try-catch blocks.  regards, rsb
