Now, I perform the following steps : Perform the steps to change the computer name. a) Right Click the My Computer,select properties. b) Select Advance Tab. c) Click Environment Variables button. d) Click New on User variable window, u get a pop up, give variable name as "ComputerName" and variable value as ur existing computer name with spaces in between. eg: Variable name : ComputerName Variable value : x yz (ur existing computer name is xyz) 2. Install application. 3. Application starts but hangs indefinitely. In short, My database connection fails when my computer name has spaces in between.
