Hi Ravi,   You need to set the DataKey field for the Datagrid and then you can access 
it from the Hyperlink column.   For Ex -    Set the DataKeyField of the Datagrid while 
binding the grid. Datagrid1.DataSource = myDataSet Datagrid1.DataKeyField = "empno" ' 
This is the key filed through which we can uniquely identify a row   Next you can 
access this field as -   intEmpno = Datagrid1.DataKeys(e.ItemIndex)   HTH.   Kaustav.
