HI,
   You cannot use the DSN based connection with the SqlClient.
For your purpose you can go through ODBCConnection.

Dim oODBCConnection As OdbcConnection
Dim sConnString As String = "Dsn=myDsn;" & _
                            "Uid=myUsername;" & _
                            "Pwd=myPassword"
oODBCConnection = New Odbc.OdbcConnection(sConnString)
oODBCConnection.Open()

However still why are you going for DSN Based connection.

As far as the performance and other features are concerned you should go on with the 
Native SqlClient class that provides you the fastest access to the SQL Server bcz it 
uses  the TDS protocol that is native to SQL Server.
