Hi ,
Well what i can guess from your problem definition , is that it's more of a
connectivity issue of ur smart device emulator and the local server hosting the web
service .
Can you give some more details regarding the process u are following :
1 . Consuming the web service , web reference Url etc.
in order to get some clue for solving the problem .
Otherwise in normal case it should work .
