----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 4 in Discussion Hi Sanjay , I think i am able to get ur doubt , essentially this example in MSDN is all about simple set of steps to fill in a Dataset , which is allocated memory on the server . Now as far as Releasing memory is concerned , u can explicitly equate it to the null , so that ultimately GC can reclaim the memory , as it's not being referenced any more . Even otherwise , if GC doesn't finds root to an object having memory allocated to it , then during it's cycle it will free the memory . In case of objects like dataset , which may be class variable , used at several places , Memory reclaim by GC even may not be soon . But anyway u can have full faith on GC to do this thing effectively and efficiently , regards , Mrinal ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
