The Student Ambassador program is similar to the MVP program - in the sense that only
an elite few make it as a student ambassador. However, we have tons of student champs
in the program (over 200 I believe). As for the student user groups, there are
several student user groups across the country. The Bangalore Student User
group(http://groups.msn.com/bdotnetstudent) is growing steadily and as a matter of
fact, had a session yesterday. The interesting this is that this session was conducted
by the manager of the Coimbatore student user group (http://groups.msn.com/CbeDotNet).
I remember reading somewhere that the academic developer program has reached around
15000 students in the last one year - and it's just growing by leaps and bounds.
Regards, Sriram Krishnan Manager - Chennai .NET Student User Group
