----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 13 in Discussion Hi Guys , Everything else is perfect but you can always delete / rename the assembly , i just tried , it works fine . Point to be considered is if we consider assembly versioning where we have made a version 1.0 and added it to GAC , it's being referenced by an app1 , now going ahead , i change the same code and create version 2.0 , so my dll is changed in any case , but the app1 will still work as it will refer the assembly from GAC . It's correct that code base value will give you same path as your dll , but that will come into consideration only when it's not able to get appropriate stuff from GAC . i hope it helps , Mrinal ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
