Hi ,   Try this :   In your aspx page , set autogeneratecolumns property as 
false , then add columns manually to it and whichever u want to make editable , 
make it a template column , to which you can add a asp:textbox and access the 
object to make it editable / readonly , as per your logic .   try this site :
