Hi,
This operator '~' has special meaning in (asp.net) which indicates "Virtual
directory".
Suppose In my appl'n the vdirectory name is Test and there are two folders
folder1(Page1) and folder2(Page2). If the user needs to be redirected from
Page1 to page2 , then this can be done by
Response.Redirect("~/Folder2/Page2.aspx"); ------
Vdirectory(Test)/Folder2/Page2.aspx
